Windom Volleyball

THE WINDOM VOLLEYBALL TEAM DEFEATED MURRAY COUNTY CENTRAL ON TUESDAY IN A SECTION 3-A TOURNAMENT MATCH.
WINDOM WON IN 3 SETS, BUT THE FIRST TWO SETS WERE CLOSE.
IN THE 1ST SET, MURRAY COUNTY CENTRAL JUMPED OUT TO AN EARLY LEAD AND WENT UP 18-6.  WINDOM TURNED THINGS AROUND, OUTSCORING MURRAY COUNTY CENTRAL 21-7 AND WINNING THE SET 27-25. 
IN THE SECOND SET, IT WAS BACK AND FORTH UNTIL WINDOM PULLED AWAY LATE AND WON THE SET 25-22.
THE THIRD SET WAS NOT AS CLOSE.  WINDOM RAN OUT TO AN EARLY 11-4 LEAD AND THE EAGLES WENT ON TO WIN THE SET 25-12, TAKING THE MATCH THREE SETS TO NONE.
WINDOM IMPROVES ITS RECORD TO 22-8 FOR THE SEASON.   WINDOM WILL PLAY TRACY-MILROY-BALATON IN THE SOUTH SUB-SECTION FINAL AT 7:30 THURSDAY NIGHT AT SOUTHWEST MINNESOTA STATE UNIVERSITY IN MARSHALL. 
MURRAY COUNTY CENTRAL ENDS ITS SEASON WITH A RECORD OF 18-7.
